To further expand and strengthen our team in Automation Controls, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the project lead in automation projects within Airport baggage handling systems together with a team of highly skilled automation experts.
Automating solutions for airports
As our new Project Manager, Automation, you become part of the Automation Controls team. Here, you join 17 highly skilled colleagues with whom you create the solutions of tomorrow. We develop and maintain products and automation solutions for our airport baggage handling systems.
You will be the project manager for the team taking responsibility for the Automation deliveries on several projects simultaneously.
Managing your projects
You are responsible for the daily planning and execution of automation projects in close cooperation with the overall project management of the complete system solution. The automation project team size will vary from project to project and complexity. More specifically, your tasks include:
- Planning and execution of automation projects in alignment with the overall project management
- Estimating task and cost to complete on active projects in our monthly resource planning together with the Team Manager
- Managing project scopes and change orders
- Supporting sales on new projects, and supporting your team with strong technical guidance
- Participating in specification work and reviews
- Driving scrum meetings during product development
- Technical sparring with the project members
A strong automation background with a dedication to project management
The role calls for a candidate with a strong experience in managing automation projects. As the project manager you are driven towards developing, guiding, and motivating the team to perform on each project. You are focused on delivering high-quality automation software at tough deadlines. You achieve this through a strong overview of your projects, close interaction, and clear communication with your stakeholders. A key driver to your success is based on your desire to work with people as well as projects.
Moreover, you:
- Have a strong technical background with a relevant degree in automation or electrical engineering
- Have experience being part of large international system integration projects
- Understand product development within automation
- Are fluent in English
