Mechanical Engineering Internship, Airport Project Engineering – spring 2025

Take part in designing complex solutions
In Airport Project Engineering, we design state-of-the-art baggage handling systems that help our customers to obtain efficient baggage handling in airports all over the world. As our Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will participate in making the mechanical design, projecting and documentation and assist our mechanical experts with sub-projects as well as day-to-day tasks.

Your tasks will include:

• Participation in project meetings on the projects that you are assigned to – from design to commissioning
• System design according to design rules
• Preparing technical specification on various components from suppliers
• Clash and interface detection in 3D environment
• Participation in design reviews with the team
• Create installation drawings and manuals.
• Various ad hoc tasks

Gain valuable experience in a specialist environment
You will be part of the team on equal terms with the rest of your colleagues and will be provided with a dedicated mentor, ensuring that you will have all the necessary tools and knowledge to get going, and will be supporting you during the entire internship.

Moreover you will have the opportunity to spend time with our interns across the organization and share your knowledge and experiences. 

Interested?
You are currently studying Mechanical Engineering and are available to start your internship in February 2025. You are motivated to test your theoretical knowledge and to work in a project-oriented environment, where you have the opportunity to take as much responsibility as you like.

The internship is paid and will last for appr. 5 months – the exact period will be agreed with your manager.
