Efficient handling of bulk material

The ideal way to transport bulk goods and raw materials after extraction to a factory is on a belt conveyor where they are transported before being processed further. This form of conveyor technology moves rock and ores through mountains and valleys over many kilometres. The properties of the material to be conveyed determine the required conveyor technology. For example, the grain size of the bulk material and the risk of exchange with the environment determines the design of the belt conveyor.

Packaging Technology

The BEUMER stretch hood® A offers maximum load stability due to the combination of vertical and horizontal contracting forces of the film. The high-flexibility film allows different product sizes to be packaged on the same pallet. The system can also be operated simply and intuitively via the touch panel, with explanatory video covering the more technical functions.

Calucem replaced their previous packaging line with our systems. They simplify the process of moving material into the packaged units and are energy-efficient.

Clariant

Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH has six production facilities. In the additives sector, the chemical company manufactures and processes natural, semi-synthetic and synthetic waxes.

Faxe Kalk

BEUMER Group supplies complete packaging line to Lhoist Faxe Kalk, Denmark's largest manufacturer of lime and limestone. The system provider had to adhere to a tight time frame.

Yadong Cement

The project includes two additional overland conveyors, with an overall length of 13.7 kilometres, transporting limestone to the cement plant across inhabited areas.

Cruz Azul

BEUMER Group supplies adaptable packaging line to Mexican cement manufacturer Cruz Azul.

Lafarge

Lafarge Zementwerke GmbH relies on alternative fuels and raw materials in Retznei. BEUMER Group supplied a single-source solution, which conveys, stores and doses the material.

Ohorongo Cement

Ohorongo Cement is the only cement manufacturer in Namibia, Africa. Its mission is to cover the national demand for high-quality cement.

To make sure that the correct quantity of these materials gets to the customer safely and on time, the manufacturer places a special emphasis on filling, palletising and packaging technology.

To offer coloured pebble stones in bags and not as bulk material anymore, the company focuses on the BEUMER robotpac®, an articulated robot able to stack the bags in a swift and gentle way.
