In order to pack clay bricks – so-called backing bricks – efficiently, the company is replacing its ageing shrink hood system with the BEUMER stretch hood®.

BEUMER Group supplies complete packaging line to Lhoist Faxe Kalk, Denmark's largest manufacturer of lime and limestone. The system provider had to adhere to a tight time frame.

To offer coloured pebble stones in bags and not as bulk material anymore, the company focuses on the BEUMER robotpac®, an articulated robot able to stack the bags in a swift and gentle way.

To make sure that the correct quantity of these materials gets to the customer safely and on time, the manufacturer places a special emphasis on filling, palletising and packaging technology.
