Job Description
- Assists Senior Project Manager / Project Director in Prepares site management plan, create an initial Installation plan, installation strategy, warehouse planning, plant and equipment for site activities.
- Gives feedback on costs for installation.
- Participates Project Gate Meetings, especially take active role in "Ready for Installation Gate Meeting" and "Installation Complete".
- Reviews the contractual requirements to Installation in detail and communicate findings to relevant parties in the project.
- Provides preliminary input to the project time schedule and contributes continuously with input from relevant stakeholders such as Supervisor(s), sub-suppliers etc.
- Continuous contribution to risk register, resource plan and budget update with an "installation perspective.
- Manage resource availability at the site.
- Participate actively in the Change Management Process
- Inputs to delivery of materials
- Responsible for the receipt goods on site and storage
- Creates method statements and ensures that implemented by the installation team.
- Ensures an appropriate working environment in terms of safety, and quality assurance.
- Participates in meetings with the customer, architect, consultant, building contractor, local sub-suppliers etc.
- Facilitates site meetings with BEUMER Group employees and suppliers.
- Being point of contact for the customer and building contractor(s) for site activities.
- Assist in preparation of work permits
- Plans and coordinates all site activities and sequence of work, including third party suppliers and other trades working in the area to ensure seamless workflow.
- Provides input to internal and external progress reports.
- Reviews installation progress reports from the relevant sub-contractors, ex. steelwork sub-contractor Updates and tracks site related issues
- Ensures that all Level 6 checklists are filled out and signed without defects.
- Facilitates structured handover to Commissioning
Qualifications
7-10 years of professional working experience in the Construction Management Field handling small/mid-size projects in construction/manufacturing area
Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Engineering
Preferred to have PMP certification from PMI / any equivalent certification course in Project Management / Construction Management
