Parcel service providers and courier services in particular, handle individual packages. So that customer orders are processed quickly, we also ensure the optimal handling of individual parcels in outbound logistics. A single sorting system is able to support a number of chutes. Via these, the packages ready for dispatch reach telescopic conveyors and the employees who sort the packages into roller cages or pack them into trucks. Automated systems support precise sortation. We will tailor our systems for loading and outbound logistics to exactly meet your requirements. This ensures faster output and improved ergonomics within the workplace.
Outbound Logistics - handling and shipping of finished products
Outbound distribution is also known as outbound logistics, distribution or sales logistics. It encompasses all logistical processes that a finished product goes through from the manufacturer to the customer. This includes the storage, packaging, moving, loading and transportation of the goods inside and outside the company. In the supply chain, the end station of the intralogistics is the outbound logistics. As experts in intralogistics, we develop machines, robots and complete system solutions that accelerate the shipping of your end product to light speed. We have the correct solution for both loose packages and palletised goods.
Stack and secure pallet goods
Beverage manufacturers usually ship their products on pallets. But who stacks the beverage crates and Tetra Pak on to pallets and secures them safely for transport? – We do- or more precisely our palletising technology does. Palletisers and palletising robots stack packages, boxes, containers and sacks on pallets in next to no time. For example, our high-performance BEUMER paletpac® palletiser can palletise ready for dispatch up to 2,500 bags per hour. The BEUMER robotpac® palletising robot can even master unstable goods with its flexible gripper systems. An innovative stretch film then fixes the products on the pallet and provides protection against rain and theft. Our BEUMER stretch hood® A combines high load security with minimal film usage.
Sending individual packages
Single or multiple shipping destinations
Organize your chute allocation for single or multiple destinations. By using buffer shafts or chutes with successive roller tracks, this enables manual palletising or fine sortation and loading into roller cages.
Loading small packages
In order to accommodate a larger selection of package sizes for automated sorting, chutes are also available with which smaller packages, depending on the production, can be loaded directly into ULDs (containers for transport in aircraft), bulk boxes, cages or mail container.

Loose Loading
Our telescopic belt conveyors were developed to load loose packages and parcels quickly and ergonomically.Details
What is the difference between inbound logistics and outbound logistics?
Put simply, inbound logistics combines all processes that are necessary for the manufacture of a product, i.e. the logistical efforts that are required before and during production. Incoming logistics are divided into procurement and production logistics. The procurement of raw materials and goods (transport and logistics to the manufacturer) and the processing into the end product are all parts of the value-adding chain or value-creation chain. On the other hand, outbound logistics describes the logistical processes after production, i.e. the handling, storage and transportation of the finished article to the customer.
Contract logistics – external partners relieve your outbound logistics
Contract logistics describes the transfer of logistical tasks from companies to logistic service providers. Typical services in logistic support are the transport and storage of goods. But more complex additional services such as shipment tracking and assembly at the customer’s premises are increasingly being covered by the logistic service provider. Long-term partnerships are common in the field of contract logistics. The advantage lies in the relief to your outbound area through lower organisational and personnel costs. In addition, you utilise the specialised knowledge of your logistics partner, which accelerates the flow of goods so that you can focus on the management of your core business.
