Are you a skilled Service Engineer with a passion for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting? BEUMER Group Australia (New Zealand Branch) is looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient professional to join our team in Auckland. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, supporting new installations, and providing top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Erect and commission new Logistics sortation systems.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Lead modifications and enhancements of existing equipment to improve performance.
Conduct service interventions, inspections, repairs, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
Provide breakdown support and troubleshooting for equipment failures.
Support Customer Support Sales and Project Management in delivering high-quality service.
Ensure strict adherence to safety practices and operational guidelines.
Prepare and maintain system service before going on-site to ensure smooth execution.
Ensure adherence to time schedules, coordinating effectively to meet project deadlines.
Liaise with customers, project management, and suppliers on-site, acting as a key technical contact.
Offer ad-hoc site support as required, responding to urgent technical needs.
What We’re Looking For:
Must hold a current NZ Electrical Service Technician’s electrical license.
Relevant working rights in New Zealand.
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with Siemens PLC, Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), IT networks, distributed I/O systems, and Step 7 is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of OH&S practices.
Excellent communication and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and results.
Willingness to travel.
Scissor lift and forklift certifications (advantageous).
