Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for

Asset Discovery: Identify and maintain an inventory of all IT assets within the organization, including on prem as well as SaaS applications, devices (computers, laptops), servers, and other resources. 

Monitoring and Management: Track and manage hardware and software assets, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively. This includes monitoring software licensing compliance and optimizing license costs. 

Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets. Ensure that assets are properly accounted and inventory is maintained. 

Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with asset management policies and regulations, including ISO 27001 standards. Ensure clear asset ownership. 

Reporting and Analysis: Compile and issue inventory reports to management. Analyze asset data to optimize usage and reduce costs. 

Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational goals. 

Support: Assist with troubleshooting IT asset-related issues and provide support for IT asset services. 

Enterprise Architecture Alignment: Collaborate with the architects in our IT team to ensure that IT asset management practices align with the organisation's overall enterprise architecture. 

Qualifications

  • Excellence in English (spoken and written)  
  • Experience in a similar position (in a large organisation with a distributed structure) 
  •  Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) 
  • High communication skills 
  • Basic knowledge of IT 
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team 
  • Very good organisation and high work culture 
  • Willingness to develop and acquire new skills 
  • Ability to proactively solve problems 
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to other locations of our company  
  • Nice to have: 
  • Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM systems and/or ISO 27001
