Risk management
BEUMER Group has established an appropriate and effective risk management system to ensure compliance with the due diligence obligations defined within this policy statement.
Risk analysis
In order to recognise risks of human rights and environmental violations, BEUMER Group GmbH & Co. KG carries out an annual and ad hoc risk analysis in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Preventive measures
BEUMER Group has established appropriate measures to prevent or reduce identified risks, both in its own business area and in relation to direct suppliers.
Remedial measures
If BEUMER Group determines that a violation of a human rights-related or environmental obligation has already occurred or is imminent in its own business area or at a direct supplier, specific measures are taken immediately to end the violation or minimise its extent.
If the violation has occurred, or is imminent at an indirect supplier, a risk analysis is carried out on an ad hoc basis, preventive measures are introduced, and a concept for ending or minimising the violation is implemented.
Complaints mechanism
BEUMER Group GmbH & Co. KG has set up a complaints system through which information on risks and violations relating to human rights and environmental obligations can be submitted.
If you would like to submit a concern on a social and/or environmental issue within the BEUMER Group value chain, please click here or contact [email protected].
Effectiveness review
The effectiveness of the preventive and remedial measures is reviewed by BEUMER Group GmbH & Co. KG once a year and also on an ad hoc basis. If necessary, these are updated immediately.
Documentation and reporting
BEUMER Group GmbH & Co. KG fulfils the reporting and publication obligations defined by the applicable legal requirements. From 2025 onwards we will report annually on our efforts to maintain the highest level of due diligence in our supply chain. This includes the publication of the results of our supply chain risk assessment and a detailed description of our steps to mitigate these identified risks and the effectiveness of these measures.
